The Arthritic Hand Tool Key is an ergonomic gadget that will help with arthritis, similar diagnosis,
and the elderly people. There will be no more painful hand aches, and discouragement
of simply opening twist off containers. The product will also be available to
everyone that wishes to have one.
The planning for the product is to introduce The Arthritic Hand Tool Key to The Arthritis Society of
Canada. For every purchase of the gadget, there will be a dollar contributed
to the Research Department.
The Arthritic Hand Tool Key will be customized for left or right handed people. The product would be a standard fit from the palm of the hand to the fingertips. There will also be three different sizes of the product: small, medium, and large. My intentions of the tool would be light weight, safe for the environment (recyclable if needed to be disposed),
and stylish. Also, the product will be safe for children because there will be
no electrical attachments: plastic, magnets and a rubber gripper only.
There is no specific location for the product where it will be sold yet because I expect the tool will
be aimed in mass merchandising through the Association of The Arthritis Society of Canada.
There is a lot of research to be done in this segment. There is a product
development in mind with the product—that is why it is called hand tool key. The
development would include magnetized containers that will need The Arthritic Hand Tool to open the lid (the sketch is on the
next page to visualize the product and the intentional development container).
